The foundation of the United States of America is NOT freedom and liberty as most people think.

What empowered our forefathers to have the strength and faith in God to allow them to overthrow the government? For a Christian society it is wrong to disobey the government because Christians must be subject to rulers.

Any nation that does not follow Natural Law, the essence of which is the Ten Commandments, will be destroyed by methods God has prescribed by setting the precedence with the nation of Israel.

Natural law was the basis for the American Revolution with freedom and liberty being the natural product of its order. The founding fathers' understanding of natural law was the correct paradigm from which to view human rights and the future of the nation. Some people think that the framers of the constitution  were hypocrites and bigots because these people owned slaves. This is because they are looking through the freedom and liberty paradigm. [The institution of slavery should not have given a master the right to be cruel to his servant any more than the institution of marriage gives a husband the right to be cruel to his wife. The husband's responsibility in marriage is for the protection and care of the wife and children.]

Two Camps

Freedom and Liberty Paradigm

Natural and Common Law Paradigm

People who looked through the Freedom and Liberty Paradigm have a skewed view of reality. The have much difficulty understanding how to restrain their liberty; they are constantly grappling to understand the concept and when they speak to explain their understanding they appear to be holding contradictory believes because without Natural Law they cannot make the formula work. Many have fought for absolute liberty under the law and the result is a worsened condition of the United States of America.

This paradigm shift allowed two camps to be formed in the pre-civil war states.

Freedom and Liberty Paradigm Camp:

Most of the immigrants coming to America ascribed to the Freedom and Liberty Paradigm camp, they did not understand how this nation came to be, but only what it appeared to be, something to run to, and not what they were running from. They were running from the oppression of freedom and liberty. Ironically oppression of freedom and liberty is what unrestrained freedom and liberty become. Unrestrained actions will always produce chaos.

The Northern view during the Civil War was for "Freedom and Liberty"  which has been the basis of the confusion which has corrupted our society today.  France recognized this spirit of liberty to be like theirs and the French Masons presented the New York Masons, in a ceremony, the "Statue of Liberty", a goddess, which was a "mockup" of their statue of liberty with some small changes. 

Natural and Common Law Camp:

During the great War Between the States, the Southerner's were fighting for a vague picture, a faint memory of Natural and Common Law. Again they were fighting against this tyrant clothed in unrestrained freedom and liberty. Christians see this as what Jude called "grace that leads to lasciviousness".

Our nation was founded on Natural and Common Law, NOT on Freedom and Liberty.

Adam and Eve's offspring became unconscious of Natural Law. Noah and Abraham listened to the inherent intuition placed into man by God breathing into Adam. God made people conscious of Natural Law by writing the Ten Commandments and then some.  God did this so they would have no excuse and would clearly see that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

Evidence of Natural Law can be found aside from the written Word of God; i.e. Natural Law can be perceived and known through our thoughts and feelings. One can test for it like the sense of pain one feels when skin is pricked with a needle. For instance is it good for a person to commit murder (kill someone simply because they desire to kill)? Of course not, it is wrong to kill whether human laws exist or not.

The tragedy of the Ten Commandments not being legally on display in public places is that the public becomes unconscious of Natural Law; this nation is becoming unconscious to Natural Law (God's Character)..

Applying Lessons of the Past to Bring Healing to the Nations

 Isaiah  42:23-25 NLT, the scripture says, Will not even one of you apply these lessons from the past and see the ruin that awaits you? Who allowed Israel to be robbed and hurt? Was it not the Lord? It was the Lord whom we sinned against, for the people would not go where He sent them, nor would they obey His law. This is why He poured out such fury on them and destroyed them in battle. They were set on fire and burned, but they refused to understand.
